In this session, you will learn about the various factors that make up a film’s budget; how a studio balances a filmmaker’s vision with production costs, how to approach your own film budget, and how to advocate for more inclusive sets.

CHANGING THE NARRATIVE ONE FILM AT A TIME
MIHI x A24: Beyond The Screen
Join our three-week immersive workshop series for young women and non-binary people of color, ages 18-25. This series will pull back the curtain on the business of filmmaking -bringing insights and educational tools to marginalized communities.
Founded in 2018, Made In Her Image is a non-profit movement striving towards social equity in the film, media, and entertainment industry. We serve youths aged 8 to 18 by curating engaging programming to foster media literacy and empowerment.
We are currently in search of interns to work on programming, community organizing, fundraising, and content creation. Must be able to commit to a minimum of 10-15 hours a week for a minimum of 12 weeks. Lunch & Parking provided (if onsite). A one-time semester travel stipend will be provided.
